Berta

Berta is a young girl, currently in her third year of primary school. She is from Loma Linda, a small, rural, coffee-farming community located in the southwest of Guatemala. She lives with her parents and four siblings.

Berta is an excellent student and loves to learn. Her favorite color is purple and her favorite food is beans with eggs - a very typical food in Guatemala.

Berta has several medical problems, including dental problems and frequent nosebleeds. The nearest health center is 35 kilometers away and her family lacks money for adequate medical services.

Your donation of $320 will allow Berta to continue going to school for the year, support necessary medical expenses, and make it possible for her to participate in activities outside of school.
