Milagros is a young girl from Loma Linda, Guatemala. At home, she lives with her sister, brother, mom, and dad. Her mom takes care of the children while her father is a farmer and works hard to support the family. The agricultural workers in Loma Linda are facing challenges to their livelihood and crop due to an ongoing coffee blight. Because of this, times have been hard on their family.

Milagros in her first year of primary school and is an EXCELLENT student! Milagros' favorite color is red (as you can see from her shirt!) and her favorite food is eggs with beans. In her free time, Milagros loves playing dolls. Though you wouldn't know it from her amazing academic performance, Milagros suffers from a persistent cough and has experienced digestive health issues.

$320 dollars would allow Milagros to continue her path towards a bright academic future and remedy her persistent health issues.
