Nelson

Nelson is a ten-year-old boy who is currently in the fourth grade at the local elementary school in the small community of Loma Linda. The community is located in southwestern Guatemala, where coffee farming is the main source of livelihood. He lives with his extended family which includes parents, grandparents and five siblings.

Nelson has some medical problems that would be greatly supported by your sponsorship. Funding would also go support his schooling for a year so that he can continue studying and progress forward into secondary school.

When he has free time, Nelson loves to play soccer with his friends and often plays on the local community field located on a hillside in their village. His favorite color is sky blue and his favorite food is fried chicken.

Your $320 donation will allow Nelson to continue going to school for the year, support much-needed medical expenses, and make it possible for Nelson to participate in activities outside of school.
